Somersham is in Cambridgeshire, approximately 15 miles north of Cambridge and 8 miles east of Huntingdon. The nearest train station is Huntingdon, with direct services from London King's Cross in around 50 minutes.

We recommend pre-booking a taxi, particularly for the return journey in the evening.

The reception is held in a barn — beautiful, but September in Cambridgeshire can be unpredictable. We'd recommend bringing a layer or a wrap for the evening, just in case.

For those who want to make a full weekend of it, yurts are available to book at Burleigh Farm, right on the wedding venue. Hired for two nights — Friday and Saturday — you can arrive relaxed, enjoy the celebrations, and leave at your leisure on Sunday morning.

As Burleigh Farm is an established campsite, there are showering and washing facilities on site throughout the weekend.

What is the dress code?
Standard wedding attire — think smart and celebratory. We'd love to see you dressed up for the occasion!
Is there parking?
Yes — there is free parking at both venues. For the church, parking is available on Church Street. Get directions to the car park. Burleigh Farm also has free on-site parking.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely — children are very welcome! We'll have a special tea party buffet laid on just for them, so the little ones can celebrate in style too.
What time does the evening finish?
Carriages are at 11pm, so you have plenty of time to dance the night away!
Is the venue accessible?
Yes — both the church and Burleigh Farm are ground floor throughout, making them fully accessible for guests with mobility requirements.
